La Pineda is a quiet and modern seaside village on the Costa Dorada in Spain, located between the beautiful city of Tarragona and the bustling city of Salou and belongs to the municipality of Vila-seca.
If you like cultural tourism and history, visit Castell de Vila-seca, an ancient fortress with a medieval appearance. Its stylized silhouette stands out above the lush pine forest that surrounds it, or visit the church of Sant Esteve, an emblematic monument over 800 years old, which bears witness to legends about the foundation of Vila-seca. Don't miss either the Celler Noucentista, the Portal of Sant Antoni, the Santuari de la Mare de Déu de la Pineda.
You can take the opportunity to visit Tarragona (only 10 kilometres away) which is a real open-air museum. The city's archaeological collection was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. Among the Roman remains and modernist art, Tarragona will leave you amazed. The Roman circus is one of the most important archaeological sites in the city. The amphitheatre was created around the first century BC by the Emperor Domitian. It is perfectly preserved, which will allow you to live in the era of the Roman Empire. At the time, it could accommodate up to 20,000 spectators.
A few kilometres from Tarragona are other Roman remains, such as the aqueduct of the Pont del Diable, built on the Francolí river. It is a World Heritage Site, protected by UNESCO. But you will also find the Torre de Escipión and the Arco de Bara, 20 kilometres from Tarragona.
Finally, if you like thrills, the PortAventura amusement park with the famous Ferrari Land is only 10 minutes from the hotel.

For this tango and relaxation stay on the Spanish Costa Dorada in La Pineda in a**** hotel with outdoor and indoor air-conditioned swimming pool with jacuzzi, close to the beach, we offer 4 days with 3 nights from Thursday to Sunday full board (6 meals + 3 breakfasts) with accommodation in a comfortable double room (or single room for solos) + 6 lessons of tango, milonga, waltzes and neoTango + 3 milongas + 2 practical-training + Tango show from Denise and Thierry Guardiola
Tango classes have been given by Denise (Argentina) and Thierry (France) tango teachers at Compadrito School (Aix en Provence) for 13 years.
During your stay, we offer 6 different tango, milonga, waltz and neotango classes
9 hours of lessons in total during your stay + tango practices and balls every day.
LEVEL:
The classes are for dancers who already practice Argentine tango on a regular basis.
THE MOST:
- 2 people to take care of you during the classes
- possibility to film at the end of the courses a reminder of the figures studied
- tango evenings (milongas) with danceable cortinas
- no meals to prepare
- covered and air-conditioned swimming pool in the hotel with jacuzzi and beach within walking distance

Gender balance:
For this TANGO holiday, registrations are made as a dance couple or as a duo.
While waiting for the Coronavirus pandemic to subside, we will take some preventive measures during our workshops such as :
- We will salute each other from afar without kissing or shaking hands...
- we will not change partners during the courses, that is why we will no longer take registrations from single people (registrations will be done in couple or duo)
